How It Works
The Mythic 18 Vet hematology analyzer works by running blood samples into the machine. Before running a test, the operator must specify the species from the main menu when the samples are entered. The operator then types in the patient ID to store the information. Once the patient’s data has been accepted, the operator can slowly invert the tube ten times or use the rotary mixer to mix the blood thoroughly. After that, they can initiate blood analysis, and the results will automatically display after 60 seconds.
